Lest you think that I've fallen off the face of the earth... I haven't.

I wrote a long, witty, newsy post a few days ago, and then my browser spontaneously closed (any idea why Firefox has been doing that since the upgrade?) and my lovely post was lost.  Aggravated and out of time, I decided not to try to recreate it; it's never as good the second time around anyway.  I've received all of your wonderful emails and comments, though, and wanted to let you know that I'm ok.  Thanks for asking!

I'm up to my eyeballs in last minute tests and finals.  My last final is Wednesday, and then I'm a free woman.  You'll hear more from  me then.

You are absolutely right - it is hard to recreate a great post. Just isn't the same.

Nice to see you up again! I have had problems with Firefox, mostly dealing with losing all my bookmarks suddenly...Good things to back-up...bookmarks. Good luck on the finals!

Since Firefox 3 came out I've not been 100% happy with it, and it seems a bit slow and buggy.

In fact I've now installed Google Chrome too, which seems a lot cleaner and quicker.

I still use Firefox for some browsing though as I use some of the add-ons for specific sites.

You got that right about recreating lost writing. It's why I keep saving drafts as I write, just in case. I actually eMail myself partial writings along the way. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr ... on your behalf for this dastardly act by Firefox. I, too, am encountering oddball behaviour with it ... namely, very slow to load ... everything!

Anyway, you KNOW you are missed this end. Glad all is well. And good luck on your last final.
