In an attempt to forget that I have a test in Human Bio on Monday (and there's no "ugh" big enough for that), I let my mind wander. I found myself thinking about the Twilight series, and the sweet, handsome, seductive vampire, Edward.
I wondered what I would do if I was seventeen and single again, and an Edward-like vampire professed his undying love for me, if he wanted to turn me so that we could be together forever. Yes, I know that Edward didn't want to turn Bella, but go with me here.
Would I do it? Would I choose to be frozen, just as I am, and spend an everlasting existence with my vampire?
It didn't take me long to say "No."
Because really, who would want to PMS for eternity?

Oh, and it has a lot of funny moments, too. *G*
If this sounds like something you'd like to read, go for it. But if this isn't how you like your vampire novels, then give it a pass.
I love this series, and can't wait for the movie(s).
So is this Twilight series the reason why vampires are so popular these days? It seems like I've been hearing many references to the vamps lately...For example, a grandmother and her 12-ish granddaughter bought $250 worth of rich, velvety fabrics on Saturday so this girl can be a vampire goddess for Halloween this year!
I don't think I've ever tried a Vampire read...perhaps I should give this series a go!
Good luck on your exam!
Ralph
