Mysterious Musings

I read according to moods, and lately it's been mysteries.  Everything from the coziest of cozies to psychological thrillers that keep you on the edge of your seat (or so they promise), I've been losing myself in them.

I like mysteries.  I like the challenge of trying to figure out whodunit.  This holds true for real life as well as fiction.  Who hasn't tried to figure out the true identity of Jack the Ripper?  Or wondered what happened to Amelia Earhart?  Has anyone figured out yet how the car keys wind up in the 'fridge instead of your purse?

What mystery would you really like to solve?  Do you have any theories?

Personally, I think Colonel Mustard did it in the spaceship with a skateboard.

But what did he do?

I think Col. Mustard had a little thing going with Miss Scarlett! As far as my biggest mystery...there are days when I wonder how certain people are able to get themselves dressed in the morning!

Nah. Col. Mustard and Professor Plum were "an item", hence "doing it" in the library (keeping it quiet, you see).

Real life mystery? Where's Lord Lucan. Personal mystery? Why is it that by July 4 I feel that my summer is over and school is about to start? Who stole two months of my life before they even occurred????

I get on mystery kicks now and again, too. Last time, I bought the entire set of Sherlock Holmes, and I've yet to read a single one! The mood ran out before I got to them. Have you ever read any?

Jen- Yes, though it's been awhile. I liked them, and would read again. But I ultimately prefer Poirot when it comes to deduction through observations.

I read according to moods too...though I usually prefer reading historial romances.
